What our members say

Watch the video to learn about what it’s like to be part of the GO: Fitness family.

F.A.Q.S

Can’t find what you are looking for? Maybe these can help.

Where do I learn more about your membership options/ details/ requirements?

You can find all the information about our memberships on our Membership page. You can also stop by or call during our open hours (contact page).

Can I negotiate a better membership price?

We have been in business for over 20 years and have never negotiated prices. We are one of the oldest gyms in Columbus and we know we are a little more expensive than other gyms, but you get so much more with GO: Fitness than anywhere else in central-Ohio.

We have warm up systems and equipment, give you professional-level nutrition software, have a gym that is set up for getting you results and having fun while working out, and to never get bored with your workout. And with our free monthly “On-Point” session, you will get expert guidance, support and education on your health and fitness journey.

Also, no GO: Fitness employee will ever chase you to your car, lowering our price or making offers that we do not offer to everyone else. GO: Fitness focuses on results, your comfort, and having fun while being part of a supportive community.

Do you offer personal training?
We are known, most of all, throughout the United States for our personal Coaching program. You can learn more about our training on our Workouts page.
Do I have to work with a Personal Trainer to be a member of your club?

No. While a personal monthly consultation is included in your membership, you are not required or pressured to purchase any additional training.

We just talk a lot about our Training Program because so many people say it is one of our best features. It is one of the things we are known for, in addition to our functional training equipment and customer service.

If I join, can you help me with a fitness program, and teach me how to use the fitness equipment?

YES! We are very proud of our ability to make a new person feel comfortable in the gym and teach them how to use the equipment.

When you start, we have a 2-part Fitness SmartStart to help you know where you are starting and help you lay out a plan to get you where you want to be.

After your 2 session SmartStart, you can set up a 30-minute “On-Point” session to help you learn how to use any equipment you have questions about.

In addition, if you want more guidance, you can always talk with a coach about one-on-one or group training.

Can I do Personal Training, Group Training or Classes without being a member?

We are pleasantly surprised as to how many people drive across town due to our program. You can do Semi-Private Training (SPT) or Private coaching without having a membership, there is just a daily fee for non-members to participate at our fitness center for SPT or Coaching.

How do I schedule classes, group training, or personal training?
We have the schedule available on the Schedule page. Once you become a member, you will be able to view and schedule all the classes or training online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I saw a workout pad outside, so do I have to train outside at Go:Fitness?
Not at all! Since we know that some people love being outdoors, so we’ve provided an outdoor area for our trainers and clients. Most of all, it just adds to the fun. But if you’d rather work out indoors, we’re ready to serve you there as well.
What is functional training?
The short of it is this: Functional Training is exercising in a way that is fun and integrates the body to work together. You train in multiple planes, multiple directions, and with a variety of equipment. You will also feel better, look better, and move better in real life situations.

With functional training, you will look better, feel better and move better.

Do you have a preacher curl bench/machine?
No, we do not.

Change your life

Real People. Real Results.

“It had been 30 years since I had been in a gym, but I was ready to make a change. It has been two years of hard work, but it’s been worth it. I have lost 50 pounds, learned how to make healthier food choices, and I am stronger than I have ever been in my life. Two years ago, I wore XXL shirts and size 40 pants. I now wear L size shirts and size 34 pants. The last time I could fit into clothing that size was 28 years ago. I am turning 60 in 5 months and I’m looking forward continuing my journey. Go Fitness and Ricky Locci have changed my life.”

“The trainers/coaches are in a league of their own; I appreciate how they push me, correct poor form, and know me by name. Most importantly I feel more like a family member then a member (like I did at my box gym). The coaches and owners have helped me deal with an eating disorder, checked in and got me in when I was struggling with depression after the loss of my father, and the programs have helped improve my vitals/bloodwork. The Go Fitness family has saved my life in more ways than they know, I am SO very grateful! “
